MEET ERIN
She/Her
Erin Sandell, the creative mind behind Sandell & Company, found her passion for photography and graphic design through a winding journey of self-discovery. For the last decade, with little formal education in these fields, Erin's hobby of capturing landscapes has evolved into a full-fledged career that continues to thrive today.
Starting as a landscape photographer, Erin's knack for portraying the beauty of nature soon expanded to include portrait photography. As she delved into this new realm, self-portraits became a crucial tool for honing her craft. Notably, her self-portraits captured the attention of publications like "Moon Magazine" and brands like "Warby Parker".
While photography became a significant part of her artistic expression, graphic design had always been simmering beneath the surface. A high school art class sparked her interest in design, leading her to explore and master the intricacies of visual communication. Today, Erin's design ethos revolves around simplicity, drawing inspiration from the minimalism of the 50s and 60s.
Residing in Mounds View, Minnesota, Erin shares her home with her beloved guinea pigs, Thelma & Louise. Beyond her creative pursuits, Erin finds joy in the outdoors, cinema, theatre, vinyl records, and a comforting cup of tea. Through Sandell & Company, Erin continues to push boundaries and deliver her unique perspective across diverse genres of photography and design.
